About Us
About Bloom Child Psychology
As parents, we all want our children to be happy, healthy and learning well. If your child is struggling with learning or behavioural issues, know that you are not alone and things can get better. At Bloom, we help you to understand your child’s unique profile and needs, and how to bring out the best in him or her.
Bloom Child Psychology is a private child and adolescent psychology practice established in 2019. We believe that expertise, experience and compassion are all equally important in providing the highest quality of psychological services. Common childhood and adolescent concerns seen at Bloom include difficulties in:
- Learning / memory
- Paying attention or focusing
- Hyperactivity or impulsive behaviour
- Reading and/or writing
- Making friends or social interactions
- Managing emotions, such as anxiety, anger and frustration
Our team has expertise in a range of developmental conditions and special needs, including autism/Asperger, dyslexia, ADHD, selective mutism, intellectual disabilities as well as children who are gifted and twice exceptional. We work with students from diverse cultures and settings, including mainstream schools, pre-schools, international schools, SPED schools and EIPIC centres.
We use evidence-based practices and gold standard approaches, working closely with families and schools to support children and young people. We know that with the right understanding, support and environment, every child can bloom and thrive.
